Your Friendly Hosts - Ian and Alison, have sold Ardara Lodge B&B in Kaikoura and now own Glenveagh B&B at 230c Clyde Road, Christchurch. We named our B&B, Glenveagh, which is a castle in Donegal, Ireland. The Boyd family, Ians side of the family, emigrated from Ardara and Carrickfin, Donegal, in the 1860s and made home in New Zealand during the gold rush era. Our B&B is well designed, with the upstairs three bedrooms and downstairs a separate lounge and outside area for guests. Wireless broadband internet available.

Glenveagh is well positioned as it is just off the main road from the Christchhurch Airport to the city centre and connects easily with the West Coast, South and North bound traffic. It is also in a quiet street with three restaurants within walking distance. The central city and Christchurch Airport are 5 minutes by car or there is a bus stop at the gate which goes to the central city via Westfield mall. There is off street parking available. Rooms: Tralee Room has a King/twin/triple room with an ensuite and an outside balcony, TV, electric blankets. The room also has a small seperate room with a single bed in which gives the room a triple option. Galway Room has a queen bed with a private bathroom with shower and bath, TV. and electric blankets. Erigal Room has two single beds, electric blankets, TV, a private bathroom with shower and bath, and doors out to a balcony. Guest lounge has a lounge suite, television, gas fire heating, tea and coffee available. Doors open outside into a private area.
